More Purafil units installed to prevent corrosion of electrical equipment
Prisma Services has recently completed the installation and commissioning of a number of Purafil PSA and PPU units at paper mills in the UK. The paper industry is well known for suffering from the effects of acid gases such as hydrogen sulphide, SOx and NOx which are a by-product of the process and the recent units have been installed to prevent corrosion of electrical and electronic equipment which results from the presence of acid gases.
