Prisma Services Limited was formed in October 1992 by the current directors John
Hart and Peter Fish.
The initial aim was to represent companies supplying equipment to the UK paper
and board industries and to service the equipment of Impact Systems Inc. throughout
Europe. Prisma successfully achieved this aim but our customers soon made it clear
that suppliers in general needed to provide more than just a sales service for
equipment. Customer rationalisation was creating the need for suppliers to offer
wider ranging engineering support such as project management, installation services,
commissioning services, training and service contracts.
Prisma’s philosophy is therefore to offer comprehensive sales and support packages
for all five companies we represent:
In recent years Prisma has expanded into other industries. We now represent Purafil
throughout the whole UK industrial and Water & Wastewater sectors as well
as for museum, archive, art gallery and historical building applications. Our
philosophy of providing the full spectrum of in-depth technical, sales and service
support remains the same.
Spares and consumables are stocked in the UK using a partnership between Prisma,
our principal companies and our customers. Prisma's head office is in Chesterfield,
with sales offices near High Wycombe and Manchester. We are conveniently located
to support our customers and our philosophy of working in close partnership with
our principal companies in order to meet our customers' needs has been successful
in the past and will continue to be so in the future.
